BrianG 11 Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Not a huge deal, but is there a way for the updater to be smart enough to know if Emby is currently running as a service during the update process, then, once the update is complete, restart the service instead of running the app (which I have to manually close)? Also want to mention that as of a few updates ago, running as a service would occasionally "hiccup" and not start on a reboot (like after Windows updates). I had to set the service startup type to "Automatic (delayed start)". Also not a big deal, just thought I'd mention it.
FrostByte 5392 Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Until such time @Quicky started a neat little powershell script which will do everything for you http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/26607-powershell-script-to-update-server-when-running-as-a-service/?p=258971
