Emby Connect, ignore DNS name?

Hi,

 

So i have Emby setup to advertise a DNS name, worked fine, until my router crapped out and took a new public IP.

 

Is there any way to connect via emby connect, ignoring the DNS name, and using the new external IP it should have picked up?

Unless you've overridden the external address it should always be auto-detecting the new one. check the front page of your emby server dashboard to see what external address is displayed

thanks for the reply, it was a dodgey router that blocked everything when I turned off the firewall in the end.
