A few observations/suggestions regarding music view:

1 - When I click on list view for genre I don't get a list of genres (it returns nothing). Is this a known bug?

2 - Would it be possible to go straight to 'all albums' view after selecting a genre? It seems rather clunky/redundant to have to click on the all albums button every time.

3 - In the genre/all albums view there is no sorting option (it is stuck sorting by album name). Personally, I much prefer to sort album views by album artist as per Sonos (sorting a lot of albums by album name is really quite messy with med-large collections). Is there any chance of getting the sort option added to this view?

4 - In the genre/all albums view the artist caption is used. Could this be changed to artist and album (e.g. exactly as per album view?)

5 - Music always defaults to the 'Suggestions' sub selectin after browsing away. An option to default to a different tab/sub menu (Album, Album Artists, Artists, Songs or Genre) would be slicker.

Hi, good suggestions.

Can you explain #1 and #4 a little more, perhaps with a screenshot?

#5 might be a good option across the board for all library folders, not just music...

Hope this helps...

re. #1 - this what I get:

I have deleted all the emby generated genre images (e.g. for Rock Jazz etc.) not sure if having no image in the base folders could cause an issue? I still expected lists to work.

This reminds me, suggestion #6 increase the scope of the collage button image creation (as per the home screen) and deprecate any other image creation for genre etc. I think this works really well (ala WMC).

re. #4 I get this when clicking on genre/all albums:

I would prefer both artist and album name to be displayed under the cover, e.g. as per album view:

I forgot to mention another bug (#7) - when filtering on genre under album view and then navigating away (e.g. to movies) and back again, the filter lists no genres. The only solution is to restart the web browser.

Just to note I am using the current dev version, but these suggestions/issues apply to release as well.
