Hi guys! Happy New Year!

I bought a chromecast for my son, so he could stream its kids movies to an extra TV I had from his tablet.

Strange thing is that, despite the really low Mbps I have to choose in Emby Playback Settings in order to stream a movie without it hiccuping, for some reason, the movie will just stop playback in the middle of it, and the chromecast will show the "Ready to Cast" Emby screen on the TV.

My wireless modem should handle this type of connection okay. It is a ARRIS Cable modem, but I believe it is to blame.

Attached are logs, maybe someone could take a moment to look and see why Emby stopped the stream, or why the connection was stropped.

you could try dropping the bitrate further. your transcoding fps is only around 25 fps, so between that and the internet transfer it's probably just not reaching it's destination fast enough to be playable. Try testing again with something that won't require transcoding.
