jaxnatax 2 Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 Hallo Gentlemen, EMBY server 3.0.5871.0 EMBY 2.1.3 Samsung TV UE55F6700 - latest firmware @ 02/16/2016 Is there any news on these below ? - buggy screen when exiting from playback - HTAB/FTAB/HSBS/FSBS - 3D playback not consistently works...Shall I then go wih this the MB guys ? - Please implement hungarian (maybe other languages) to the primary audio/subtitle selection list Or let us add it manually - Please display both local and original titles under the posters OR at the details pane OR just let us search for both - Please display the item's full path at the details pane - Please add filtering option to the "movie folders" section also - At searching a wildcard option could be great - Is that normal that secondary/third/etc audio tracks are not direct played ? - when audio is copied then video playback mode is not mentioned - Please add that info there - Please check why some of DTS audio tracks failing - Texts at the frame of the screen are overlapping (like "English and the menu index numbering" and "time against - next page, prev - keypad also overlapping the "user icons" - only 3 user icons are visible on the primary screen - please let it fit or let it wrapped to multiple rows page, login etc texts" at the login page) New findings: - subtitle playback do not work at all - could only achieve 15 seconds of playback with subtitles (tried every possible combinations) - resuming states getting messed up when changing Sammy client version - when I downgraded the client to the SD version (even when I totally removed the app before) it loaded as much zoomed as it was unusable ! (It workded before with the HD version) regards, J
cmcg 876 Posted March 1, 2016 Author Posted March 1, 2016 Quite a shopping list. I'll get started shall I. 1
Ultroman 87 Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 I have to say, I don't get at least half of those. 2
FrostByte 5392 Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 (edited) I have to say, I don't get at least half of those. Ya, I don't understand half of them either. Could use a little more explanation on almost all of them Edited March 2, 2016 by FrostByte
Ultroman 87 Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 (edited) Heheh, what I meant was, that I'm not experiencing more than half of the ones that I do understand. Edited March 2, 2016 by Ultroman 1
jaxnatax 2 Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Ya, I don't understand half of them either. Could use a little more explanation on almost all of them I've explained 90% of them before - that time I got I'm exhausting you with the details guys. So what is the good approach then ?
jaxnatax 2 Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Quite a shopping list. I'll get started shall I. Is the source code available somewhere ? I may able to help you.
Ultroman 87 Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Well, I'd think that each bug should be reported in a separate thread, detailing how to reproduce it, and possibly some pictures, and with the prefix "BUG:" in the title. Feature requests also get a thread of their own, with the prefix "FR:" in the title, possibly with a mock up. Mostly, complaints about how things have been implemented, or small things like spelling-errors and such go here. If the whole thing explodes for you, it's probably a good idea to post about it here, and ask if you should make a thread for it. 1

Like shorty and Ultraman suggested you should really break things up and explain major issues in detail in a separate threads. Throwing a bunch of issues into one post in this thread (with or without details) is just going to make it harder for anyone to follow or help in any way. As far as the code, anyone can look at and download the code https://github.com/MediaBrowser/SamsungSmartTV Edited March 4, 2016 by FrostByte
