Is there a way to change the default on the Skip Forward and Skip Back? I would like to increase it to 30 seconds.

I don't think there is. I have looked for it myself perhaps in an xml file like they do it in Kodi. It is definitely not a setting you can change within the program itself.

 

I have requested this feature to be added in the new version of Emby Theater and hopefully it will be included. I definitely use the 30 sec forward 10 sec backwards exclusively as opposed to regular ffwd and rwd.

I see the latest Emby for Windows Media Player has the ability to change the default skip interval. Can ET be far behind?

I hope they implement this as an option too. 80% of my usage is recorded TV for which I skip through the commercials. When it was first implemented it's 10 seconds up and back. I noticed last night it seems they have increased that to 15 seconds up and back. It's a little improvement at least. I still use Kodi for watching our recorded shows for this reason. Otherwise I would be exclusively on ET now that the EPG guide is implemented.

This is something i use all the time, moving over to Emby it is sorely missed. Hope its not far away.

I agree, most of our use is watching recorded TV. Making it user definable would place the final nail in wmc..
