Different episode naming (Blu-ray vs. thetvdb.com)

I haven't found anything in the wiki so my question is hopefully not covered anywhere else:

 

The "Pillars of the Earth" blu-ray contains 2 disc's with a total of 4 episodes where TVDB is showing 8 episodes for the same TV show. The simple explanation is that the blu-ray version is always summarizing 2 episodes like so:

blu-ray episode 1 equals tvdb.com episodes 1&2

blu-ray episode 2 equals tvdb.com episodes 3&4 ....and so on.

 

If I'm just naming the files according to the emby naming guide I'm getting the content from the first 4 episodes and missing episodes 5-8.

 

Any idea how to deal with that?

How are you naming them?

 

For double-episodes, you can name them such as:

 

Agent X - 1x07x08.mkv

That is great - I will give it a try. Here is the naming I am now using:

 

The Pillars of the Earth-S01E01xE02

The Pillars of the Earth-S01E03xE04

The Pillars of the Earth-S01E03xE04

The Pillars of the Earth-S01E07xE08

I had to use a different naming:

 

The Pillars of the Earth 1x01x02
The Pillars of the Earth 1x03x04
The Pillars of the Earth 1x05x06
The Pillars of the Earth 1x07x08

Whoah! Has this always been possible? I never noticed this before. Especially with the DVD rips in Video_TS structure. This changes the game for me in a really good way.
