zebo51 22 Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 I will start with changes made over the past few days just in case any of it can play a part. I first tried to get remote access working. Locally I use port 80 and remote was set to 8096. I had this open on my firewall. It wasn't working. In the process of working on this I somehow couldn't access emby anymore, even locally. So I opened the system.xml file and changed all port settings I could find to 80. Eventually I got back in. I changed my firewall rule from port 8096 to 80 and then was able to access remotely. I did a few tests playing a TV show and a movie. It seemed to be fine. Last night I watched part of a movie and left it paused over night. Today I went to finish it and watched a little and it seemed audio sync was a little off. So I stopped it and restarted my HTPC. Emby then updated to the latest stable release. I have restarted several times and my movie would not resume. It will switch to the play screen and then just sit there. My HTPC actually froze and I had to do a hard reset. I tried again and no luck. I tried playing it from the beginning and same result. I then tried a few other movies and they all do the same thing, just go to the start but never play. I tried a short TV show and it seemed to start like normal. If I use an external player MPC it plays fine. I just restarted again and tried a movie across my local network. It finally started playing after 30 secs, maybe a minute. I went to my local HTPC which is the way I mainly watch movies and still no luck. I use Chrome. I tried IE and it seems ok, started playing in a couple seconds. I went into chrome and deleted all my cookies, history, etc. No luck. So it seems to be only movies and using Chrome both locally and networked. I tried IE and FF from another PC on my network and movies seem to start fine in a second or two. Any ideas? Thanks
