ISO mounter not working?

I changed my OS from Win7 to Win 10 Pro a couple of days ago and since then I have been struggling to get my Bluray ISOs working with Emby server (both transcoding and with TMT6 as external player in MBT). It appears that the Pismo file mount does not get used at all. The server log (see bottom 10% of the log file) does not mention anything about ISO being mounted.

The media details on the web interface also does not show any video or audio format details for these movies. In MBT, the external player gets called but the path is not transferred to it as the ISO does not mount, while ffmpeg gets activated to transcode. This made me conclude that for some reason in Windows 10, Emby server recognizes ISO as a media format and does not call for PFM. This was working flawless for the same movies before in Windows 7.

I changed to windows 10 for its superior Netflix app. I even got WMC working in windows 10 without issues, but can't figure out the ISO issue.

Any help or insight is appreciated...

I can tell you're running the dev server and yes, with the new support for running 64-bit under windows the iso mounting feature has been lost. If you really need it you can restore it by forcing the emby server process to run as 32-bit. In order to support Pismo under 64-bit we basically have to redo the whole Pismo mounting function. That might eventually happen but realistically it's not a high priority given the decline in popularity of storing content in Iso.

Thanks for the quick response. I am just a regular user. Could you please guide me how I can run it as 32-bit? A quick google search left me confused...

This is old but you can try something like this

Truthfully I will probably not suggest that anymore because it's not something that's going to be easy to do. So yea, sorry, with the advent of the 64-bit build, that feature is currently unavailable right now. If you want to install fresh you can get it back on the beta and stable releases, for a little while at least, but eventually the 64-bit support will be promoted to those channels as well.
