mjktg99 35 Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 As the title says, if the recorded tv folder is empty the app crashes back to the android home screen. First, i just got my Sheild today so this is my first expereince with Android TV and the emby app for it. Secondly, thats probably why i found the bug because I dont actually use my default recorded tv folder and I was just poking around when it happened. I was able to confirm that after putting a WTV file in the folder, the app no longer crashed. My setup, I run WMC and Serverwmc as my headend. I strip comercials and move the recordings to another folder (why the defualt folder is empty). I sent the logs from the app if that helps.

ebr 16169 Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 I think this is the same issue I'm fighting with the framework elements and them crashing when items are removed from a row or a row is removed from a list of rows. I believe I have worked around the issue by creating a new "Latest Recordings" row on both the home screen and Live TV views and moving the button that goes to the all recordings view to that row. That way, the button will only be there if you actually have recordings. This will be in the next beta.
xXSagaiaXx 25 Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Just saw it. I'll try to whittle my recordings down enough that I have zero. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
spencerisadog 4 Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 I just wanted to +1 this issue however I'm on the AndroidTV app on a Sony Bravia. I think you're right, it's when you delete the only recorded episode of a series.
