tv show images missing only in this app

Hello,

 

I recently purchased the Nvidia Shield and have been playing with both Kodi and Emby for Android TV.  The images for the tv shows Marvel's Agents of Shield and Marvel's Agent Carter do not appear in the Emby app, although the shows themselves do appear with a generic folder image.  The correct images do show up just fine in Kodi (with Emby addon), the web client, and the mobile client.  Any thoughts on what might be the issue?

Sorry, I'd just be guessing without more specific information about the exact setup.

 

My first guess, though is that it is a setup issue at the server end around how the library is actually defined and structured.

an update:  since I thought it was strange that both Marvel series were having issues, I deleted the apostrophe from Marvel's, deleted all the metadata, and rescanned.  Carter appeared now under the name Agent Carter, and the series poster appeared as well.  Shield appeared now as just Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. but the series poster still did not appear.  Out of curiosity I deleted all the periods in S.H.I.E.L.D. to see if that would make any difference, but it didn't.

 

The server is a new install on a machine recently updated from Windows 7 to Windows 10.  The folder names follow the standard naming convention with each show in its own folder and subfolders for each season and extrafanart.  Metadata is saved in the same folder as the show, and an .nfo file is generated to be used with Kodi.  I do not use path substitution, but paths are set up using the folder share names not the local paths.

 

It's certainly not the end of the world if I have this one missing poster, but it does have me curious.  If you can think of any other information that might be useful, let me know.
