Replace Images not working on Refresh

I can't for the life of me figure out how replace/update the images on a few of my libraries. I've tried doing a refresh in metadata manager and choosing replace existing images, I've tried deleting the library and renaming it, I've tried updating the server and nothing works automatically. The only thing that does work is doing an identify of the media and selecting replace existing images. I'm pulling my hair out at the number of bugs I have with Emby.

why don't you give us one example of something you tried to do that didn't work, and walk us through that. thanks.

 

just as an example, i just tested the refresh button in the metadata manager with replace all images enabled - no problem was found. so, no bug there that i'm aware of.

I'm looking at the folder above which is animate movies. All of the movies have been properly identified. If I look at them, all the proper metadata is being pulled except the cover art. I can go in and manually identify the movie once again and replace the cover art or go in and manually add the image, but using the metadata manager to replace the image is not working. This leaves me with roughly ~1,000 titles without cover art as shown above.

i can't tell from the image above whether they're identified or not. the above only tells me that the videos have at least been imported into your library.

 

Please see how to report a problem to provide additional info and we can look at one specific example and find out what the problem is with it. Chances are solving one will explain them all.

I just deleted the server and started over. That seemed to work.
