Cannot delete recordings

I've tried this with Win10 remote client, Win7 remote client and also browser on server using Chrome and Edge. Same result - cannot delete recordings.

 

I open web client

click on recordings

click on recording I want to delete

click on 3 dot menu

click on delete

click on OK

It bounces me back to Suggestions page

I click on Recordings

Item is still there.

More Info:

 

I originally set up to record these TV shows but my antenna was aimed in the wrong direction, therefore they did not record.

Folder in appdata/... .. ... .. .. /recorded is empty.

However, metadata for the shows was stored somewhere and therefore the shows appear as valid recordings in Recorded TV.

 

I suspect that normally, when you delete a recording, first the TS file gets deleted and then the metadata for that show gets deleted. Since there is no TS file, the operation fails and leaves the metadata.

 

This seems to be a bug. If the requested show cannot be recorded, the metadata should not be created.

well if there was never a .ts file in the first place then that is the true problem as a recording record should never have been created.

 

Is that correct that there was never one at all?
