dranderson402 31 Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 I just updated to Version 3.0.5781.8 and now the emby server constantly crashes within a few minutes of being started. I noticed I have some .net updates available so I installed them but it did not help. I have attached my log file for review. It only includes from the moment I started the server to when it crashed. The server is running on a windows 7 pro 32bit. Before the update it was running without any problems. Can someone help me figure this out? Let me know if you need any additional information. dranderson402 31 Posted December 22, 2015 Author Posted December 22, 2015 Just stops running. I'm assuming it's crashing. I start the server and a few minutes later the server icon is gone. I don't even see anything in the windows event viewer or any indication in the logs that it stopped. But I have to restart the server and again in a few minutes it just stops running again. However, I restarted the server and enabled debug logging and it has been running for over an hour now. So we'll see.

Emby Server v 3.0.5781.8 Windows 7 Enterprise, 64-bit, Intel Core i5-3470, 12GB RAM The application loads but just stops running within a few minutes of launch. The time before it stops running varies from about 30 seconds up to a couple of minutes. I've tried: System restart - no change Disable AVG - no change Check AVG logs - nothing found Check Windows Event viewer logs - nothing found. Perform 'over the top' re-install of emby server (latest beta) - no change Check emby server logs - nothing found - the log content varies depending on how long the process ran for before terminating. dranderson402 31 Posted December 23, 2015 Author Posted December 23, 2015 My system has been running fine now ever since that last restart when I enabled debug logging. I have since turned off debug logging and it is still running. I think but not sure, since Luke suggested removing the 2 plugins I have if the problem continued, I remember testing emby server on a different computer and when I tried to add the same plugins I wasn't able to get to them. I was getting timeout errors. I saw another post stating the same problem that was just a temporary issue connecting to the server. By the time I last restarted the server on the problem computer, the plugins page was loading fine. So I wonder if the server was trying to check the plugins for updates and the timeout stopped the server. Just a thought.
