Entering IP Address in Playon Plugin Results in "invalidoperationexception"

I've tried to enter the IP address in both FireFox and Chrome and this is the result:

Not sure where to start, should I post a server log or is this unrelated?

Tried a server reboot, tried an Emby reboot, behavior still exists. Oddly, the "working circle" also never leaves the screen as soon as I enter the settings for the plugin:

As soon as I enter an I.P. address (doesn't matter what I enter, local host, actual ip or 127.0.0.1) and click save, I get the screen above. There are errors in the server log, but they look pretty generic to me:

Having the same issue here, looking around it seemed to have been working in the past, wondering are there any links to older versions of emby to try and setup the ip there and then update?   only as a temporary workaround until the problem is officially resolved

Bump.... @@snazy2000 seems to be MIA....

@@ebr, @@Luke, Any way to get an older version as suggested by ketopi? I've entered the IP in the plugin config XML file, but it still doesn't show up in my channel list which leads me to believe I've got other issues.... I don't use playon for streaming much, so I may just abandon this for now.

Try sending snazy2000 a PM

Thanks Luke. I know it's a busy time of year for everyone. Hoping to try this out before my trial expires...

I'm pretty sure Ebr is right on the money in post #4, so it's nothing that can be helped by an old version but rather the plugin needs to make a small change to adapt to newer versions of Emby Server.

Ive updated the plugin to resolve this issue.

@@Luke I thought this change wasn't going to happen straight away?

I did move it up a little but there was still almost a month to react. Thanks for updating :)
