Christmas theme

Did we spoil you guys with the Halloween theme ? I haven't seen the same level of reaction as we had with that.

I just noticed, and not sure if the Halloween theme included this, but you can choose between two styles in this theme!

 

Being spoiled, I was actually going to go over to Feature Request and ask for a Web Client Themeing API as a result of how cool this is.

yea the default holiday theme does not use santa claus or the word christmas. We took the starbucks approach

I love it just really noticed it today as it didn't want to load when I was on the server accessing my media.

Fun, but the Javascript snow is incredibly processor intensive. Chrome was running 12% CPU on an 8 core i7 processor with just the home page open, switch the theme off and it drops to zero.

 

Was actually enjoying it until I realised what it was that was hammering the CPU, sorry had to turn it off, but nice touch none the less.

Live in Queensland Australia so it's the closest thing to snow I will get.  We have a hot tropical Christmas here, usually on the beach.

or alternatively if you don't want to clear the whole cache open the dev console (ctrl+shift+k in firefox, ctrl+shift+i in chrome) and in the console tab prompt enter:

localStorage.removeItem('holidaytheme5');

and reload the page.
