vick1982 15 Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 hi.. emby was updating to latest version and now my dashboard wont load... i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling emby but it wont load and i keep getting the error on the webpage: i have tried reading old posts but they haven't helped.. this is when trying to access the page http://localhost:8096/web/dashboard.html... my other apps that use localhost address are loading fine This webpage is not availableERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

overClocked! 65 Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 (edited) This has happened to me as well after upgrading to the newest version. I'm running the Emby Server as a service and it's failing to start successfully with error 1053: "The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion. I had even extended the timeout period by increasing the SERVICESPIPETIMEOUT registry value weeks ago and even that didn't help. (see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/824344if you're curious about how to do this). So I have to babysit the service until it starts, or hope and pray that it eventually does. Attached are my server logs captured during couple of times when it wouldn't start up.
