Arch errror log+ grumbling

so i updated my computer (including ffmpeg) and rebooted. after reboot emby wasn't available.. it failed systemd intialization....

rebooted, tried restarting the service in systemd - the only thing that does actually bring the server back up is if i run it with root privileges (just a test, i am not running it as root)


i just want it to run SMOOOOTHLY!!!!

Ah, there's a problem in the command line

Command line: /usr/lib/emby-server/MediaBrowser.Server.Mono.exe -programdata -ffmpeg -ffprobe

the ffmpeg and ffprobe paths are missing.

I haven't changed anything in the shell script, conf file and systemd unit for a while, including during the 3.0.5781.5 update, it should have kept working. Did you modify any of those files?

Lo siento on the slow response.

 

This is a jacked setup because of some poor life decisions i made purchasing a proprietary nas.

 

The only thing I believe i have modified are directory locations regarding metadata and that kind of thing... but honestly as i was setting it up I was kind of just bashing away until it properly came up....

 

 

EDIT: I assumed it was a permissions error because sudo emby-server worked... but so far nothing - genuinely I am migrating to freenas in like 2 weeks - so i am probably not going to troubleshoot past today. It's not a big deal. Thanks for the help.
