PenkethBoy 2068 Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 I think the latest Emby server Beta release (v3.2.26.4) has broken the CSS. I've had to remove it to be able to see content. It's like white text on a white background. yep same for me
sh0rty 715 Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 I've raised an issue on @@Ben Z's Github. .paperList,{ background-color: #COLORCODE OF YOUR DELIGHT !important; }
Ben Z 86 Posted July 27, 2017 Author Posted July 27, 2017 (edited) @@Ben Z you may have to make more use of !important, because color schemes are being loaded after your css. I am doing some gruntwork to make all of this possible: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/49217-just-a-little-fun/ I'm not sure to get what you mean. I'm using !important almost everywhere? What am I doing wrong? Some of your css use !important and I can't override without being more specific, which I'm trying to avoid. e.g. .darkDrawer .selectedMediaFolder span.sectionName instead of .darkDrawer .selectedMediaFolder I'll fix the theme when I can. Don't have my computer right now. Edited July 27, 2017 by Ben Z 1
PenkethBoy 2068 Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 (edited) sorry but that has no effect - even when i just add that and nothing else [edit] i does but a very limited effect on a few sections Edited July 27, 2017 by PenkethBoy

Don't have my computer right now. Actually see here for examples on how to do a color scheme: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/emby-webcomponents/tree/master/themes You should be able to copy that exactly, except right now you'll need to add !important to just about every line since the custom css will be loaded prior to the color theme that is chosen for the current screen. This now gives you something to monitor for changes and as they change you can see exactly what would need to change in your own themes. If you notice something missing (e.g. drawer), that means it's just not done yet and you can either just wait or hack it in the meantime. 1

Luke 42077 Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 yea but now he knows exactly what to look at to find out how to adjust.

arrbee99 1815 Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 Are you sure? I fixed the main drawer today. Well OK maybe not. I updated to 26.6 and the main menu was white, but now you mentioned it I restarted the server (again) and refreshed the page and its all hunky dory again. Thanks - good job you asked......
arrbee99 1815 Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 ...although think there still a bug with highlighting items in the Library (the white on light grey bit), and maybe other locations too...

PenkethBoy 2068 Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 I noticed that in Beta on the plugin page the version number for plugin's is not visible (removed branding to check) however on stable the numbers are visible minor omission i guess

This is beta server, not Beta CSS. Probably something Luke has changed in the beta server that hasn't been released to Stable yet.
CBers 7450 Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 Where exactly is that? On the My Plugins and Catalog pages. Version numbers are very dull.

Nope - its not the server its the css version The Stable version of the CSS does not have the problem - if you apply that to the beta server the plugin numbers are visible
