Very low bitrate if source aspekt ratio 4:3

Hi,

 

 I'm new at emby. I've installed the Windows-Server and it runs well. But I've a strange Problem.

 

If the source (ISO ripped from DVD) have a aspect ratio DAR 16:9 ffmpeg encode with a optimal Bitrate

 

                    Stream #0:0: Video: h264 (libx264), yuv420p, 720x576 [sAR 64:45 DAR 16:9], q=-1--1, 7680 kb/s, 25 fps, 90k tbn, 25 Tbc

 

 

 

If the source (also ISO ripped from DVD) have a aspect ratio DAR 4:3 ffmpeg encode with a very low Bitrate

 

                       Stream #0:0: Video: h264 (libx264), yuv420p, 426x318 [sAR 212:213 DAR 4:3], q=-1--1, 100 kb/s, 25 fps, 90k tbn, 25 tbc

 

 

Does'nt matter what client (Android, Web-Browser, local or over a WAN) I use.

 

I attach two log-files, one with high, the other with low Bitrate.

 

Anyone a solution?

Ok, so the bitrate detection of the ISO produced a very low number. I will have to adjust that and ignore the low value.

as a test, can you take the first vob of the iso

 

VTS_01_1.VOB

 

copy that into your movie library temporarily, just that one file. let me know how that goes. thanks.
