Check for Updates fails

I noticed I am a server version behind so went to update. Unfortunately both application and plugin checks are failing instantly. The PC has normal internet connectivity so unsure whats happening.

great now I'm three versions behind. Can I manually update somehow?

I presume you mean run the installer over the top of the current installation. I will give that a crack and report back.

Figured it out, the update services no longer work via my VPN, disconnect my VPN and they work fine. Has something changed recently? I note the same PC connected via VPN also asks me to validate cloudflare on this website.

So interestingly MCM can no longer connect to Trak.TV either, and they are also using Cloudflare.

 

Now I'm not sure if cloudflare is the common link, or Torguard my VPN provider. Seems odd both happened at the same time.
