Every run of Scan media library updates something even when media does not change

Scan media Library keeps updating something i would think once it runs it wont need to keep updating again unchanged media files?

 

It starts at 0% then jumps to 36% and takes forever to finish and once i run it again does the exact same thing

 

with kodi emby addon i keep getting incremental updates

 

 

is this normal?

look at Plex media scanning is done and if you run it again its fast and does not reupdate unchanged media files metadata.

Same thing with Kodi library update only adds new content does not keep changing metadata everytime its run.

this isn't normal. can you try removing the two plugins that you have installed? then report back with new info. thanks.

yea thanks it was the Anime plugin removed it and everything is good now
