Various Issues

I have finished setting up emby these past few days and have just now gotten around to using it. I have run into a few issues:

 

- "Music Videos" Libraries: The tab shows up in Theater but is empty. Files show up normally in the Browser.

- "Home Videos" Libraries: Videos don't have cover/background art.

- Missing subtitles: Both external and file-integrated subtitles don't show up in Theater; plays fine in MPC. OBS.: I have not tested this issue in the Browser.

- Low image quality: I immediately noticed all my videos were pixelated/jagged. This was specially visible around object edges, such as in Title sequences. I had to change video renderer to madVR and set smooth motion mode to "always". Still, quality is lower than on MPC. OBS.: I have K-Lite codec pack.

- Slow loading artwork: The time required to load cover art varies greatly. Sometimes it is instantaneous, sometimes it seems as if it won't load at all. Sometimes just a few movies won't load artwork, sometimes all. I never had this problem with MediaBrowser and can guarantee it is not due to my hardware's performance.

- Navigation "freeze": Not really a "freeze" state, but when using ah keyboard, sometimes navigation will stop working. Windows key / alt+tab won't fix this. I have to mouseover (highlight) a menu item to regain control.

 

These are the most major issues I've encountered. There are more, but I will post them later.

 

Please tell me what specs/materials you need in aiming to solve these issues.

Please see the stickied 'how to report a problem' threads.  Post one problem per thread with relevant data.  Post in the appropriate forum, for example if an issue occurs in theater but not the browser, start in the Theater forum.

 

That will give you the best odds of getting help.
