legrosmoi 4 Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Another possible bug... My global setting are to download metadata in English. In the metadata manager, I then change the language of a specific library and save the change. If I perform a full refresh on the library, the new setting isn't considered (takinf effect). A Scan Media Library job doesn't take the new change in consideration either. If I restart the server, the new setting is properly read, and a refresh or scan work as intended. Thanks, Jocelyn
Luke 42083 Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Hi, I just tested this the other day and it was fine. The normal library scan is only looking for changes to your files. Simply changing a setting will generally not cause the regular library scan to refresh content. It's typically only for new content added after you change the setting. If you want to immediately refresh content after changing the language, you can do so with the various refresh buttons attached to specific items in the web interface.
legrosmoi 4 Posted December 16, 2015 Author Posted December 16, 2015 Sorry you are right. I found the problem. It is related to the rename of the library mentionned in a previous post. If I rename the library - the language metadata is lost. Many settings are lost (probably all). I checked and after a rename I lose, metadata language, country, locked metadata check boxes... 1
