Renaming a library and user access

Hello Emby dev,

 

Possible bug?

 

I have multiple users that have limited access to some libraries.

If I go in the Library menu and rename a library (without changing its type or directory),

I need to re-configure all users access to that library... The checkmark on that renamed library is lost after the rename.

 

It seems that the 'display name' of a library is also used as an 'internal Id' somewhere in the engine. Am I right?

Wild guess here but it might be related to the following problem I had... I renamed a library during a Scan Media Library job.

All the primary image for that library were missing... I redid a full scan, no change. I tried to select the library in the metadata manager and the primary image never came back.

 

The only fix was to delete the refreshinfo.db on the server. After that, all the primary image came back all nice...

 

The name of the library seems to be used in that file as well (probably indirectly)
