tee2nu 0 Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 (edited) Emby was awesome for the first week I've had this. But when NextPVR and Emby was updated, Live TV Streaming broke. When I try to launch from my Android it would play for a second and stop. I checked the NextPVR temp directory and the .ts file will appear for a minute and then disappear. When I try to launch it via app on my fire tV or chrome browser nothing happens. Just a blank screen. I am a premier emby supporter and the reason I am using Emby in the first place is for the Live TV streaming capability. Please someone help. Using the NextPVR software there is no issue. Or using NextPVR on Kodi there is no issue either. Only on Emby this is happening. Emby: Version 3.0.5781.5 NextPVR) 3.6.6 I've uninstalled completely and rebooted. And Re-installed and the same problem is happening. Everything worked perfectly until the updates to both Emby and NextPVR. Here's what it says in recent activities: TR has started playing KPHO HD 12/15/2015 9:17:37 am App: Emby for Android Mobile, Device: XT Then a couple of minutes later: TR has stopped playing KPHO HD 12/15/2015 9:19:15 am App: Emby for Android Mobile, Device: XT And I didn't do anything to stop it. It does it by itself. emby logs 121515.rtf emby transcode log 121515.rtf Edited December 15, 2015 by tee2nu
Luke 42083 Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 Hi there, sorry to hear about your troubles. In your log I see some next pvr web service url's throwing 404 not found errors. http://localhost:8866/public/util/art/event/1407156 So either there's an issue with your next pvr installation, or the emby next pvr plugin is not configured correctly. @@Sven do you know the answer? Thanks.
Sven 136 Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 @@Luke Where do you see that? I searched in the logs for that. But i don't see any error?
tee2nu 0 Posted January 1, 2016 Author Posted January 1, 2016 NextPVR works fine by itself. When I use it through Emby, that's when the problem starts. Any updates on this issue?
Luke 42083 Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Hi, have you tried updating to the latest version of emby server?
tee2nu 0 Posted January 21, 2016 Author Posted January 21, 2016 The tuner on nextpvr shows it is being used then it stops after 20 seconds.
Luke 42083 Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 I would try the beta release, which you can grab from the website. let me know if that helps. thanks.
tee2nu 0 Posted January 21, 2016 Author Posted January 21, 2016 Already tried the Beta version. Same thing. It seems like it times out after 20 seconds. And never streams the content
tee2nu 0 Posted January 21, 2016 Author Posted January 21, 2016 Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
arrbee99 1817 Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 I know it doesn't help much, but Live TV varies for me quite a bit depending on the device - works for me on a Windows machine using Chrome and Firefox but not for IE11 and Edge. Works on FireTV (though haven't tried it for a while). Never worked on the old MB Theatre and has worked once for me on the new MB Theatre. Doesn't work on a Windows Phone.
Bart91106 2 Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 The NextPVR plugin was working for me on windows 10 yesterday. The server update today killed it today. Mt tuner is no longer visible on Live TV/Devices and I can't access the plugin's "settings", I reinstalled the plugin to no avail. Yesterday I was able to get schedules direct working and I attached logos to my channels on Emby. Live TV was even working on my android tablet. Now I'm back to square one with Live TV or now Dead TV.
