ayeroff 2 Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Previously when I added a new movie to my Emby library, Emby would scrape all the metadata and down load all the images including a folder for extrafanart and a folder for extrathumbs. But recently, Emby stopped downloading an extrathumbs folder or extrathumb images. Was this an intentional change in the Emby program? Or did one of my settings get accidentally changed? I'd like to get the extrathumb funtionality back. Thanks!
Luke 42083 Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 hi, check the metadata settings in the server dashboard. Go to metadata -> services. Check what the backdrop limit is for movies and tv series. If it is set to 1, then increase it the amount you'd like.

Anything else I could try? Thanks!
Van Gogh 4 Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 (edited) I have also noticed this for the last several versions. Also, while the backdrop limit on my server is set to 3, it only automatically downloads 1 backdrop when adding a new movie (which didn't used to be an issue). Adding more manually also seems to be a little quirky. I can browse the available images, but when I download one it will not show up in the images list unless I refresh (as in download missing images) for the current item - and I have to add them one at a time like this.
