jonandtice 0 Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 All my TV shows are working as expected except for one that is all strm files. They have been scrapped and added to the library correctly but when I try to play them Kodi says file no longer available. I expect the path in Kodi for an episode of this TV show to be: smb://sophocles/TV Shows/RWBY/Season 1/s01e01.strm Instead it is: ?video_id=-sGiE10zNQM That is weird because the contents of s01e01.strm are: plugin://plugin.video.youtube/play/?video_id=-sGiE10zNQM So Emby is obviously reading the strm file and trying to guess at what it is instead of just passing the path to Kodi. How can I make Emby give Kodi the correct path?
Angelblue05 4132 Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 Already known bug. The fix will be in the next major beta update for our add-on. Thank you for your patience.
jonandtice 0 Posted December 13, 2015 Author Posted December 13, 2015 Awesome. Thanks for the quick reply. I have add-on version 1.1.60, so it will be fixed in 1.2?
Angelblue05 4132 Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 An announcement will be made when the fix is made available.
Angelblue05 4132 Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 @@jonandtice If you do want to test beta, the fix is added for strm files while using direct paths. Let me know.

Yes, I actually switched to the beta repository a few days ago and strm files are working great! I did have to run the texturecache maintenance utility since after refreshing the library my Arctic Zephyr skin background fanart widget images were missing. I'm not sure if Emby or Kodi was at fault but all is good now.
Angelblue05 4132 Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 It was my fault. But it has since been fixed.
