CoolDreamZ 1 Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 (edited) I initially setup a single Movie Library with two folders in it: /v1/films /v2/Films It took me a while to notice but the second folder (/v2/Films) appears not to have been scanned (no content or metadata from that folder in the Library). I tried the following: A) Remove folder /v2/Films from Library re-add folder /v2/Films to Library C) manual library rescan Result was the same, nothing found in /v2/Films So I tried this: A) Remove /v2/Films from original Library Create a new Movie Library C) Add folder /v2/Films to new Library emby automatically started a library scan/update and the content of /v2/Films is now available in the second Library OK. Of course I now have two libraries which is not so convenient. This looks like a bug to me. Edited December 19, 2015 by CoolDreamZ
CoolDreamZ 1 Posted December 13, 2015 Author Posted December 13, 2015 I have found a (per user) fix for this problem - in the User Settings->Home Screen Settings there is an option under 'My Views' to Automatically group content from the following folders into views such as Movies, Music and TV: This enabled me to select the two different libraries and now they appear as one media source in the browser.
xarath 4 Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 (edited) I have the same problem with the music library (although the tv library works fine). When I add two folders to the music library, only one is getting scanned. When I add them in two different music library, each is getting scanned right. Fresh install and nothing shows up in the logs. The stable and the beta release both have this problem. Edited September 5, 2016 by xarath

This doesn't work for me. I have two music libraries (which I would like to see as one) and only 'TV' appears in 'My Views'.
xarath 4 Posted September 22, 2016 Posted September 22, 2016 As I described in this other post, changing the folder name resolved the problem (from /export/data/Music to /export/data/music).
