Gunn 3 Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Loving Emby on all my devices...except the Fire TV Stick! I have cinema mode enabled with my Movies to play one custom intro from a network path. When I select a movie to play on the stick, the short intro video will play (they all happen to be 4:3 videos). Then, the movie will start (an .mp4 @ 1920x800, 3960kbps). The problem occurs when switching to the actual widescreen movie. The movie will start, and I'll hear all of the audio just fine, but the video won't display. Or if it does display. I can only see the video on either side of the previous 4:3 video. So the screen will either be black, or very nearly black in the portion that the intro video was (like where the intro video nearly faded away but not quite completely). No matter where I fast-forward or rewind in the movie, the screen no longer updates video. I've given a minute or so, but no luck, so it's not like a buffering problem I don't think. Any ideas? I've read about VLC and transcoding, etc. concerning the Fire TV stick, but I can't find any relevant settings on the server side. As a general note, I can play any of my movies, with the intro, via my Android app on a Galaxy S5 phone. They look and play perfectly.
