rstaad 0 Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 I just created an Emby account a couple of days ago and added my media. The files are complete and I can see the run time, but for whatever reason, nothing will play. I'm on an iMac, running all the latest versions of browsers and OS.
Luke 42077 Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Hi there, welcome. Please see how to report a problem so that we can best help you.
rstaad 0 Posted December 10, 2015 Author Posted December 10, 2015 Thanks. I've attached the last two logs. I was able to play only one of my video files (using Chrome) but then it stopped. All the other videos just show the opening screen with the play button and do nothing. Emby Logs.zip
Luke 42077 Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Hi, sorry for the delay in responding to this. it looks like for some reason it is failing to launch ffmpeg. Note in the log: ApplicationName='/Users/r_staadecker/.config/emby-server/ffmpeg/20150917/ffmpeg', CommandLine='-i file:"/Volumes/MY BOOK/Seagate Backup/Movies/The.Keeping.Room.2015.HDRip.XviD.AC3-EVO/The.Keeping.Room.2015.HDRip.XviD.AC3-EVO.avi" -map_metadata -1 -threads 0 -map 0:0 -map 0:1 -map -0:s -codec:v:0 libx264 -pix_fmt yuv420p -preset superfast -crf 23 -b:v 1610093 -maxrate 1610093 -bufsize 3220186 -vsync vfr -profile:v high -level 41 -force_key_frames "expr:gte(t,n_forced*3)" -vf "scale=min(iw\,1280):trunc(ow/dar/2)*2" -flags -global_header -sc_threshold 0 -codec:a:0 aac -strict experimental -ac 6 -ab 320000 -af "adelay=1,aresample=async=1" -hls_time 3 -start_number 0 -hls_list_size 0 -y "/Users/r_staadecker/.config/emby-server/transcoding-temp/9089c95ba7c4cb3dc55aaca817a1371a.m3u8"', CurrentDirectory='', Native error= Out of memory It ends with Native error= Out of memory I guess before we go any further, is this problem still happening?
Happy2Play 9780 Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Would that error be a full hard drive?
