enthous 0 Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 (edited) First, the details and screen snaps below are from the web app on a PC. However, the behavior also happens in the IOS app, so it appears to be server related, not app related. I've got a Home Videos library that only has a few things in it. This is how it looks when I select Home Videos from my Home screen: Next I decided I wanted them sorted differently, so I clicked the AZ icon and chose another sort order. I chose "By date added" but that doesn't seem to be important. Any change will elicit the same behavior. After selecting a new sort order, the display changes completely to a display of Media Folders: Now, I tried to use the Menu to go back to Home Videos. So I selected "Home Videos" from the left menu, and the title of the screen changed from Media Folders to Home Videos, but the content remains the same, and is definitely not my Home Videos: Finally, if I return to the Home screen, or I go to any other screen, then select Home Videos, I get the correct Home Videos display again, and it's sorted the way I wanted (eg, the newly selected sort order). If I click on any of the above images, I do go to the library I clicked on. So if I click TV, I go to the TV screen. Then, if I use either the browser Back button or the upper left menu and go back to Home Videos, it's correct. Basically, I've got to go to another screen to get the Home Videos to display again. This doesn't happen with any other library. The only thing that I can think of that's different about the Home Videos library is that it's comprised of more than one folder; all my others are contained in a single folder. As an aside, as you can see in the above picture, the TV composite image is all the same show. I have more than one show in my TV library, but none of the others gets included in the image. Just cosmetic, but it's weird. Log.txt Edited December 10, 2015 by enthous
enthous 0 Posted December 10, 2015 Author Posted December 10, 2015 (edited) Additional information: I just did an experiment to see if the library being comprised of two folders was the reason for the behavior. I separated them into Home Videos and Exercise Videos, using the media type "Home Videos" for both folders. The strange behavior happens in both Home Videos and Exercise Videos. I thought maybe it was the "Home Videos" media type, so I changed the media type to "Movies" for the new Exercise Videos library. Strange behavior still happens. So I haven't a clue what the triggering factor is. Edited December 10, 2015 by enthous
Luke 42083 Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Thanks, I'm pretty sure this is already addressed for the next release.
