casting thru chromecast and showing as PCM on receiver

im using my ipad to cast a movie thru chromecast 

on my denon receiver it is hsowing as PCM  audio stereo , 

 

the video file should be DTS.

i know my receiver supports DTS -

 

Denon AVR-s701w

 

on which device and what setting do i need to change to get the native audio to output correctly through the receiver?

can you recommend a device that does? what about a roku tv?

the roku boxes do, yes, although you'll have to check whether that covers all the flavors of dts that you need, for instance, dts-hd, dts-hdma, etc.
