Metadata Images existing and new (library from kodi)

Hi first off I'm new to Emby so go easy :) Great piece of software by the way! I've been using Kodi for many years so hopefully that will stand me in good stead...

I Updated to latest stable 3.0.5781.5 today and then decided to clean up the metadata of my library as I've only recently installed emby and a few things hadn't been picked up right. So I set to work updating images for movies and TV shows. I noticed that some of the items updated ok but then I when I went back they were back to how they were. Anyway I did all the TV then went onto movies and noticed that most of the posters I had were in a lowly 380x420 res so I decided to manually delete those from the folders. All of my media folders has exported images from a few years of kodi and could have done with a spruce up tbh.

After doing this I went into scheduled tasks and cleaned the library followed by a scan of the media library (This is how I'd do it on kodi after tinkering with files, not sure if its the same with Emby but seemed logical)

Then nothing appeared in shows and movies but in suggestions everything was there but back to the old pre updating

I've managed to get the view back in chrome by force reloading the page after realising it was working on android app and on Kodi. But not all the meta has reverted back and I'm thinking emby has picked up all the local files for meta again instead of using the new ones I picked out.

What's the best procedure when having local meta files in each directory and updating Emby with new ones? Should I delete all local files? Is there a way to batch refresh a library to regrab meta?

Ok so I'm guilty of not looking hard enough... Turns out it's in Metadata manager then pressing the library ie Movies and refresh.

Ok so there is def an issue where images are being reverted for some reason. I changed them by searching and replacing, I think deleting it first works but I shouldn't have to do that?
