piejanssens 3 Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Whatever I do I can't get the watched status of Vice.S03E00 (pre-season special) stuck to 'watched'. I tried setting it to watched through the emby browser app, refresh, looks fine, after a few hours/days 'unwatched'. Tried setting it through Emby Kodi addon, sometimes status just doesn't change, or when it does it's reset the next day. I do have trakt addon installed as a plugin for Emby. I don't know where to look to get to the bottom of this.
spoopers 5 Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Same thing happens for me, would be interested to see if there is a solution.

spoopers 5 Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 Same show, same "special" episode? Are you also using Trakt in Emby? No not using Trakt, just forgets what I have marked as watched, I don't use the Kodi addon either I'm accessing Emby via the web interface and Android.
Luke 42079 Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 if you use sonarr then disable its metadata features.
piejanssens 3 Posted December 7, 2015 Author Posted December 7, 2015 if you use sonarr then disable its metadata features. Not using sonarr, I'm using SickRage without any metadata options checked.
spon 26 Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Not using sonarr, I'm using SickRage without any metadata options checked. I'm having a potentially related issue and also use sickrage. Some episodes are marked as watched immediately upon import in Emby.

See here https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/TV%20namingThen it is defined in metadata where in the show it should appear ie before season 3 episode 1 Perhaps this is happening because it's not being identified properly when scanning due to episode number 00? Happy2Play 9781 Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Vice.S03E00 (pre-season special) This is should actually be Vice.S00E19 (pre-season special)
piejanssens 3 Posted December 14, 2015 Author Posted December 14, 2015 Thanks guys, I corrected the episode number and now the status is stored and kept that way.
