onewaytrigger 1 Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 (edited) Hey everyone. I have the Anime plugin and just added some anime using the following structure: F:\ Animes\ Dragon Ball Z\ Season 1\ Dragon Ball Z - 1x01 - The New Threat.mvk Everithing is fine but, it is fetching the american voice actors (from thetvdb I presume) intead the original japaneses ones. Is it possible on emby to where to fetch metadata from? (I had problems too with music fetching from lastfm instead musicbrainz) If it is possible, what is the best source for anime metadata? Sorry for my bad english Edited December 4, 2015 by onewaytrigger
Luke 42079 Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 have you configured your preferred metadata language in the server?
onewaytrigger 1 Posted December 6, 2015 Author Posted December 6, 2015 (edited) Does it matters? If I change it to japanese the whole metada will be on that language? I have some japanese animated movies and the cast (wich is from imdb) is the original japanese one. Since my animes are under TV submenu, it fetches metadata from thetvdb, wich have more detailed info and artworks, the only downside is the american cast. That's why I asked if it is possible to fecth just the cast from another source (anilist), if not could I get the whole metadata from anilist? Edited December 6, 2015 by onewaytrigger
Luke 42079 Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 There's currently no way to mix and match data from different sources. It's something I'd like to do in the future. For now, all you can do is prioritize one source over the other.
onewaytrigger 1 Posted December 6, 2015 Author Posted December 6, 2015 That's my question. How to proritize a source? If i leave all external IDs blank (except anilist, wich is where I want to get metadata from), hit save, Refresh, it auto detects all missing IDs, and grabs metadata from thetvdb...
