Intel Quick Sync for TS files ?

All my normal media is fine and plays natively - it is just the ts recorded TV files that could do with some CPU reduction.  

 

To recap - i use nextPVR plugin for emby, and 6 roku players for the playback.  

 

I have activate Igpu in the bios, confirmed the CPU supports quicksync, updated the intel drivers for my win 10 64bit, then ran handbrake and converted a ts file using handbrake as  H.264 (Intel QSV), then repeated for all the other formats and noticed it is 50% quicker.  I assume therefore that it is working ?

 

But in Emby, when I change from Auto to Quick Sync it just lock up on the roku.  I tried the ide from another post to untick the throttling also - same issue.

 

Is this suppsed to work ?  Am I doing something wrong ?
