Bug with allow transcoding

Hey all,

 

Ok i create a new user.

Account profile has only allow media playback (direct play always).

Transcoding audio video is disabled.

 

I login with this user.

I start play a movie and it plays fine (direct play).

Then instead of direct play i change quiality to 480p.

This needs transcoding so the movie stop playing and it is saying

Playing Back error

No combability streams are.....

 

And i am back to the preview of the movie.

If i try to play the movie again it appears this message and it doesnt allow me to playback the movie and you dont have access any more to see this movie or change back the playback quality.

 

I think the best thing is if you have unchecked the trancoding access then not display the icon to change resolution/quality.

Hi, yes we'll get to this but since it's just a matter of hiding options that aren't allowed that's the only reason it hasn't made it to the top of the priority list. we will get to it though.
