Server doesn't know it's out of date

Not an issue to me as I run mine as a service and update it manually when I want to anyway, but may be an issue for others.

My server is currently running 3.0.5781.2 and says it's completely up to date. This is obviously not correct as 3.0.5781.3 is on the website and has been announced. Does the checker only check minor version and not minor/minor version numbers / patches or something?

Sometimes it takes a bit to check and determine you are ready for an update.  It is not immediate.  My experience is it is very good at checking.  Are you set for Beta or Stable?

As I said, I don't let it auto update anyway and run it as a service. I prefer to monitor the forums for any issues before updating and I do it manually when I have the spare time and when I'm happy there's no major issues doing so. Just letting people know incase it was an issue, nothing more. :)

Server is set to stable for what it's worth, but the latest stable release is .1 higher than it's running and it's recently been re-started which forces the update check schedule to run anyway. Lukes explanation in the other thread linked is probably the issue and if so it should clear itself after another update anyway.

No, there is no issue linked to this. The answer here is just patience.

I had the same experience. However refreshing the web client showed it. I shut down the service and started it from the icon, updated, shut down and went back to the service.
