Emby Logs and Privacy

I've used Emby (and ServerWMC) on a daily basis, since its MB2 days. 

As Emby has grown, there's been a few nagging question I've had.

 

I'll start with the most concerning one...

Emby keeps detailed logs of user viewing habits and IP addresses and machine names.

 

* Can anyone advise if Emby logs are transmitted anywhere? 

If they are, then I'd ask who are they transmitted to, in what format (plaintext of encrypted) and why is there no easy to find privacy policy on the Emby site/software?

they are not transmitted anywhere.

it's part of the server's installation wizard and it forces you to acknowledge. Also, every app store we're listed in requires us to provide the privacy policy so that it can be included in the app listing.

That's great to hear "they are not transmitted anywhere".
