Chapter extraction question

I make my slideshow music videos in Live MovieMaker (mp4 - h264), then use Cyberlink Audio Director to convert them to mpeg2 (h262), to enable 5.1 audio. Just noticed that those I do that with, don't extract chapter images. No problem with other formats, and all settings appear to be correct, so I'm wondering if this is just something connected to the mpg container (my mpeg2 movies in the mkv container extract properly)?

 

Not a big concern, more a matter of curiousity.

Have you checked the settings under Metadata > Advanced > Chapters ?

 

I think the default is Movies only, if you haven't done so already you'll need to check "Other Videos".

Yes, I checked all settings. In fooling around with my Cyberlink PowerDirector (movie editor), it appears there is no Rich Video content in the affected videos. I'm thinking this is probably why the Emby server isn't extracting the chapter scenes.

 

Again, not an issue, just curiousity.
