ds716+ support ?

im new with synology and emby

at the moment im using freenas but next week

Im getting a ds716+ and i was wondering if i could install emby on it.

I was going to use the link below, from the "How to Setup" stickied thread in this forum:

 

 

Pre-installation

 

...Check the what CPU/architecture you have in your synology https://github.com/S...r-Synology-mode so you can use the right Package for your base install.(#Shell command uname -a)

 

 

...to hopefully give you some pointers, but seeing as its not listed, I don't know - sorry  

 

I'm reasonably new to all this myself and have only just this weekend, re-setup my Emby install on my DS1815+ and given this is my first foray into NAS's and Emby on NAS's, I'm not real sure how well the DS716+ will handle Emby. Sorry. Hopefully someone else can pipe in here and let you know if your model is supported or not.

We have a new installation procedure for Synology users. It's very easy and is now on our website:

 

http://emby.media/nas-server.html

 

All Synology users are recommended to use this going forward (if your model supports it).
