jasonchalk 0 Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Hello, I am desperately trying to get a working DVR software package for my Silicondust HDHR Prime... I am trying to get Emby working with SchedulesDirect and am having no luck whatsoever. See attached screenshot of missing schedule/grid data. Also, see attached log file from doing a SchedulesDirect pull. Hoping someone can see what is going on? I am getting maybe 20% of the guide and that is not enough... I bought a month-to-month on Emby and a 2-month subscription on SchedulesDirect -- hoping to have a solution so I can pony up for lifetime and annual subscription. I otherwise very much like the product! Thanks, --Jason server-63583658009.txt
Luke 42077 Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Hi, welcome. yea i do see some errors in your log there although as of now I'm not sure what the cause is. can you do the following to help us track it down: Navigate to the server dashboard -> advanced. then enable debug logging. then stop the server, and install the dev release on top of your existing installation: http://mb3admin.com/downloads/dev/server/setup.exe Normally I wouldn't ask you to install the dev release but since you're just getting started there isn't much to risk at this point. The dev release has about a month's worth of additional development. I'd like to see if the issue reproduces there. Once you're up and running with the dev server, open the server dashboard and go back to the Live TV section, then click Refresh Guide Data. Once that completes, let me know how it goes and please provide the log again if the result is the same. Thanks.
jasonchalk 0 Posted November 21, 2015 Author Posted November 21, 2015 Bam! The Dev version definitely did it! This is what I did: Enabled the debug logging... Installed the Dev server as you instructed Restarted Emby Then, for good measure, I deleted and re-added the tuner. Full Guide info. Woohoo!!! logs.zip
jasonchalk 0 Posted November 21, 2015 Author Posted November 21, 2015 I'm assuming I should keep this version? How do I get back on the happy upgrade path to keep my server up to date? Thank you for your quick response!
Luke 42077 Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Glad to see that. You don't need to do anything. I would just stay as you are and when there's a new version, it will update for you. If you see that we release new server versions with a version number lower than yours, then don't install it from the website because it will cause you to downgrade. That might happen if we decide to do another patch release on top of the current stable release.
jkanoy 6 Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 I'd like to offer my experience to see if this makes a difference. I was having the identical problem and then I noticed on schedulesdirect website it said if you're using the JSON service you do not need to add a lineup. I deleted my lineup from SD account and then refreshed guide data in Emby and it's all there now.
