Certain files do not allow for scrubbing, and some don't play

Hello, Emby forums! I run a server on Ubuntu 14.04 and on that server I run the Docker image with Emby on it. I've been having some issues with media files recently, and they're relatively inconsistent. First, some files will load up and play, however I can't scrub through them; the bar is greyed out  In addition, the Emby web player only shows the time elapsed in the file, and not how long the file is like it normally does. However, I've not been able to link this to a particular media format. It failed with some AVI files, but not others, and the same applies for MKV. I ran an update (to the .2 release), and the problem went away for some media files, but not others. I have verified that the files play normally and are able to be scrubbed when downloaded from the server and opened locally with VLC. It might be worth noting that I do have a particularly large collection (approximately 350GB). Any help is greatly appreciated!

Edit: I suppose I should throw some more details here:

Tested in Firefox 42 on Arch Linux and the latest Emby Android client

Server version 3.0.5781.2 running from the latest docker image (I pulled today)

I have chmod 777'd the entire /media and /config from within the container

Another update: It would appear as though I've vound a correlation: TV episodes that are affected by this issue don't have subtitles downloaded (but they're on opensubtitles.org). Not sure what that means, but I thought it'd be worth posting

One last update: Fixed it. Apparently, I hit the download limit on Opensubtitles, and as such it couldn't download all of the subtitles (with 350GB of content that's understandable). This aparently caused the media server to derp out and cause the error I described. If someone would instruct me on how to mark this as "solved" I will.

Hi,

Welcome. For these titles, if you look at the media info at the bottom of the detail page, is it filled in, or is it empty? if it is empty, try using the dot menu on the detail page to refresh the item. when it was first scanned in the probing may have failed for one reason or another. let us know if that helps.
