legallink 187 Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Any way to get better user usage stats? 1
legallink 187 Posted November 18, 2015 Author Posted November 18, 2015 I'm looking for time/date/ip address of user logins, movies/shows/media watched/played, basically a user history (on a per user basis), as well as general overview of usage (across all users): most popular/viewed media/view counts on media, analyze when users are logged in/playing media the most, etc. 3
spootdev 56 Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Most of that is already in the activity database. Shouldn't be too hard to whip up a program to get that info.
legallink 187 Posted November 19, 2015 Author Posted November 19, 2015 Activity database? didnt know it existed. I'll have to hunt for that. Would love it in the admin dashboard.
Happy2Play 9782 Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Go to Reports and use the Reports drop down menu. 1
legallink 187 Posted November 19, 2015 Author Posted November 19, 2015 Thanks for the tip. I'll play around with it some more.
legallink 187 Posted November 19, 2015 Author Posted November 19, 2015 So, I played around with this a bit, and this isn't statistics, this is just an event log. It isn't really helpful other than viewing events that you knew took place or someone alerted you to.

legallink 187 Posted November 20, 2015 Author Posted November 20, 2015 Well, yeah......then u use the data to compute the stats. Fair point, but I'm lazy. Just hoping for user stats in the program, rather than having to export and write formulas.
