Sorry to ask this twice. But I'm getting a similar error after creating a new boxset. It is showing 0 movies and the logs show the following:

2013-12-05 22:32:08.0022, Error, ProviderManager, MovieDbProvider failed refreshing Top 250 \\SERVER\Media\Movies\Top 250 [boxset]

Not really sure if this means the link in the shortcut was not extracted properly

that doesn't mean anything

Well.. I ended up creating a new folder, waited until it was recognized as a collection (this time with no links underneath) then created a shortcut to a movie manually under that folder. The collection showed it properly. After that, I simply moved all shortcuts from the offending folder to the new one (64 of them) and refreshed the client. All of them appeared without issues.

It seems that if you do something wrong (who knows what that might be) you end up with a non-functioning boxset.

Anyways... it worked. Thanks.
