Duplicated entries in movies by genre

Hello to everyone,

Fist of all thank you for your fantastic software.

I tried to use the movies by genre link but i found something wrong: I have two links for the same genre but in two different languages (english and italian, that's the my one).

For example i have for comedy, both comedy and "commedia".

The movies in folders are different :the newer ones in the italian folder and the older in the english folder.

It seems it depends on the metadata: the older movies are genres tagged in english and the newer in italian.

There is a way to fix it? Do i need a full rescan of the movies folder and if i need How can i do it?

Hi there, yes it does depend on the metadata. you can always correct this by editing a title in the web interface. to do this, right click on a title or use the 3-dot menu.

Install the genre cleaner plugin and map the extra genre to the one you'd prefer to see.

Thank you for the answers.

I will try with genre cleaner because i have a lot of movies in the wrong folder and it would take a lot of a time to change manually genres  one by one.

There is a way to reset my metadata and rebuild them?
