McChen 7 Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 after i upgraded to the new server release that enabled intel quicksync for decode, i've been having problems with runaway ffmpeg processes. I suspect that it is related to the quicksync support. Is there anyway to disable Quicksync? I see only "Auto" and "Enabled" as options. Auto seems to enable quicksync if it detects quicksync capable hardware. And enabled is obviously enabled. What if I have quicksync hardware but don't want to use the quicksync feature?
Luke 42083 Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 Auto does not enable it by default. You have to explicitly enable QuickSync in order for it to be utilized. So best thing to do is put the setting back on auto.
