Distorted sound in live and recorded TV

I wasn't sure if I should post this here or in the ServerWMC forum...

I'm using ServerWMC 1.0.0.58 and Emby Server 3.0.5781.0 to stream TV to my Roku, and I've noticed an annoying audio issue.  High-pitched sounds tend to sound distorted and wobbly, for lack of a better term - almost like they're underwater.  It's not extremely noticeable, but it still bugs me.  I've fiddled with the streaming bitrate, but that doesn't seem to have an effect.  My ServerWMC log is attached.

Its passing ac3 audio in your livetv streams. The official client will transcode this to aac only. Can you try this app ( https://my.roku.com/account/add?channel=EmbyBlueNeon ) and in preferences turn "unknown audio" to "see as ac3" and see if this solves it.

Unfortunately, that didn't help. When I set that option I get no sound at all.

Update for anyone who might be having this same problem:

2 months and several updates later I tried the solution above again, and it actually works now. The sound quality for live TV still isn't the greatest, but the distortion is mostly gone.
