Transition Between WMC & External Player

I am using WMC 7 with TMT 6 as my external player. When I play a movie the screen goes completely white for a few seconds before TMT kicks in. Any idea why this happens? Also, is there a way to change the Emby splash screen that shows up between WMC and TMT?

Don't know about the white screen.  That may be TMT.
